The best film I have watched recently about migration as a refugee. Importantly so because it was filmed by refugees themselves, filmmakers Hassan Fazili and his wife Fatima Hossaini and their two young daughters who fled Afghanistan towards Europe. I think (good) art - in contrast with journalism and social media - can help us who have relatively comfortable and stable lives grow much deeper and non-fetishizing understanding and compassion for the lives of people who are forced to leave their home.
